I am Sister Shen from Sichuan Province of China. Thank God for giving me this opportunity to witness His glory. Glory to God!

My hometown is very close to Wuhan (the center of the infected area).  All relatives live in there. Thank God for putting His love in my heart, leading me to share with my relatives the preventive measures taught by Pastor Wang Weidong (WangShengfeng) .  God also touched me to pray for them and communicate with them every day.

I learned from my relatives that:

​On January 19,2020, my uncle had a dinner in Anlu (City) with relatives who were just back from Wuhan and who had cold symptoms. Later on he found himself got cold symptoms too.

On January 23, he took a bus back from Anlu to Beijing transiting via Wuhan before Wuhan lockdown 2-3 hours. He began to feel tired and exhausted after transiting via Wuhan.

On January 25, my uncle was admitted to Beijing Epidemic Prevention Hospital for fever.

My Uncle Tested Positive for COVID-19

On January 27, he tested positive for COVID-19(coronavirus) and was transferred to a Beijing hospital specialized in COVID-19 treatment on the same day.

Uncle has treated me like a daughter since I was little. When I heard this terrible news, I was very sad and upset and couldn't accept it. I also couldn't help blaming myself for not remembering him in my prayers. I had prayed for all my other relatives and friends in Wuhan and assumed that he was well in Beijing.

For this reason, I blamed myself and deeply worried about his situation. I knew God is his only Savior. What I need to do is to pray for him and share the gospel with him. But I didn't know how to share because of my fear and lack of faith. Yet God knows my weakness. He showed HIS mercy to my uncle. I was touched by God to communicate with coworkers at church, asking them to send my request to Pastor Wang to pray for my uncle.

Pastor Wang Pray for My Uncle

At noon on the 28th of January, Pastor Wang replied message, " Sure, I will pray for Sister Shen's uncle. Please ask her to share with him the gospel and the testimonies of how God has healed a sister with cardiopulmonary failure in our church. And ask her uncle to receive God's healing by faith."

After seeing the pastor's response, I struggled heavily inside. Part of me really wanted to do what Pastor Wang had said, but part of me, due to my sin, felt afraid to do so. I was upset.

God knows my weakness. A coworker at church was touched by God to help me, encouraging and counseling me with God's words. During that process, I learned to surrender myself, letting go of my ego, so that I could find strength in Him. I surrendered to His guidance and prayed with faith, committed my way to the Lord and trusted in Him .

Thank Lord for touching brothers and sisters to pray for my uncle and share various testimonies with me.

That evening, sheltered by God, I did what Pastor Wang told me – to share with my uncle the gospel and testimonies from brothers and sisters. I had faith that he has been healed by God through Pastor Wang's prayer for him.

Since being diagnosed COVID-19 on January 27, my uncle has been depressed and refused to answer phone. I only learned his status from his daughter.

Jesus Healed My Uncle from COVID-19

Thank God! In the morning of January 29, my uncle replied to me for the first time, “thank you, my daughter (that is how my uncle calls me), I feel better today.” Later, I learned from his daughter his fever subsided that day.

On February 4, his daughter told me that he hasn't had fever for several days.

On February 6, I learned from other relatives that he had been transferred from the ICU to a general ward. He looked well and was ready to be discharged from the hospital in a few days!

On February 18, after my uncle was discharged from the hospital, I had a brief call with him, as he was willing to answer the phone and to talk to me. I could tell he was in a good mood. He sounded energetic and joyful.  

My uncle said, “other patients with COVID-19 need to take more than three kinds of pills every day for at least 12 days. But I only took one anti-inflammatory pill each day from the 27th to the 31st. That was just five pills in total .”

“On January 31, my physical condition had returned to normal. Some patients were found with other symptoms after leaving the hospital. I don’t have any!”

Hallelujah! After being healed by God, all his health examinations during the hospital observation period, including four times of CT scan, four times of blood test and four times of alveolar test, turned negative and normal.

Now my uncle has been back home for many days. He is in good mental and physical condition. All his family members are safe and healthy. He feels he’s quite blessed with his current status.

Hallelujah! Thank God. He answered Pastor Wang's prayer and healed my uncle from COVID-19. God teaches us through His servant Pastor Wang that if we confess our sins and repent, submit to and trust in Him, He will forgive our sins and purify us from our wrongdoing. His blessings will also be passed to all those we are connected to. Glory to God! Amen!
