I thank God for healing my kidney stones through His servant, pastor Wang Shengfeng. I will give a glorious testimony for the Lord！

 

I. Diagnosed with Kidney Stones

In our company, there are annual medical examinations each year which usually happened in the first half of the year. During the examination in 2012, the ultrasound doctor informed me that there was a stone in my left kidney, but no stones were found in my right side. Upon hearing the doctor’s diagnosis, I felt a sudden uneasiness in my heart, and from that moment I became concerned about this matter.

 

During my first year in Shenzhen, a colleague from my hometown was also diagnosed with kidney stones. He often experienced back pain and blood in his urine. Despite taking medication for some time, the kidney stones weren’t gone but became even worsened. He had no choice but to undergo surgery at Chongqing Medical University to remove the kidney stones, leaving a large and permanent scar on his waist.

 

At that time, I had not yet believed in Jesus. After I became a believer, I had a fellow brother who suffered from kidney stones and frequently experienced intense pain in his lower back, which caused significant trouble in his daily life. Based on their experiences, I concluded that while this condition may not be life-threatening, it definitely affects one's work and life, thus adding an additional burden to my mind.

 

The following year, it was time for the annual medical examination again. I paid special attention and asked the medical staff to thoroughly examine my kidneys. This time, the doctor carefully examined and said that both kidneys had stones. I asked if it was due to my poor dietary habits since I usually did not drink enough water. The doctor responded, "This condition is not related to your dietary habits; it is because of your constitution(the condition of a person's body and how healthy it is)."

 

From that moment on, a shadow seemed to linger in my heart. Although it hadn't yet negatively affected my work and life, but I had already considered myself a kidney stone patient.

 

II. Encountering A Healing Conference: My Kidney Stones Healed by God

On a Saturday in 2015, my wife and I, along with our daughter who was less than a year old, attended a prayer gathering and it was already afternoon when we came out.When a sister mentioned that pastor Wang Shengfeng from Rich Christ Church was holding a healing conference, my wife was eager go and see. Considering she usually took care of our daughter, I allowed her to go to the healing conference while I stayed with our daughter in a  room next to where the conference was held to rest.

 

After a while, my wife urgently called me to join the meeting, saying that the pastor was moved by the Holy Spirit to tell the congregation that anyone with kidney stones can place their hands on their waist and receive healing by faith. 

 

When I entered, the pastor on the stage said the same words, so I placed my hand on my waist. Pastor Wang Shengfeng prayed in the name of Jesus, and he instructed us to receive God's healing by faith. The prayer was short. At that moment, I thought the best way to determine whether my kidney stones were healed by God was to undergo another ultrasound examination. But it was just a passing thought, and I soon forgot about it.

 

Soon enough, it was time for the annual medical examination. During the examination, I had completely forgotten that I placed my hand on my waist at the healing conference led by pastor Wang Shengfeng earlier that year.

 

When I underwent the ultrasound, as usual, I told the doctor, "Please pay attention to my kidneys." This time, the doctor told me that no kidney stones were found and he repeated, "At least, I did not see any kidney stones."

 

I felt very surprised. How come there were no kidney stones this time? Oh, I remembered the experience earlier this year when I placed my hand on my waist at the healing conference led by pastor Wang Shengfeng.

 

Instantly, I felt a wave of joy in my heart and thanked the Lord. He truly performed a healing miracle on me, and it happened so suddenly and simply, without any surgery or money on medication. My kidney stones were completely and thoroughly healed.

 

In 2015, my company relocated our medical examination hospital to the First Health Examination Department of the Shenzhen Health Bureau. This hospital is responsible for providing healthcare and coordination services for central leaders and national-level foreign guests visiting Shenzhen, and it surpasses any other hospital we had previously gone for medical examinations in every aspect. 

 

During the ultrasound examination, as usual, I asked the doctor to pay attention to whether I had kidney stones, and the doctor also informed me that no kidney stones were found.

 

For two consecutive years, the medical examination reports from two different hospitals showed that I no longer had kidney stones. It was at this point that I became convinced that my kidney stones had been miraculously healed by our Lord Jesus Christ through the prayers of pastor Wang, who served as a vessel of the Holy Spirit.

 

There wasn’t any kidney stone in 2006’s medical examination either. For three consecutive years of medical examinations, there were no kidney stones. In 2017, I had the opportunity to have a meal with pastor Wang. It was at that time I learned that kidney stones can develop into a life-threatening condition. Kidney stones cannot be completely eliminated by medication, and surgical removal does not guarantee an end to the problem, as kidney stones can recur. 

 

Pastor Wang shared his own experience of suffering from kidney stones in the past, which led to kidney failure and uremia due to a lack of timely treatment, bringing him to the brink of death...

 

As I listened, I broke out in a cold sweat and expressed gratitude to the Lord for His abundant grace. The miraculous healing of the Lord Jesus had spared me from many potential sufferings, of which I had no knowledge or deep contemplation. Once again, I received the immense grace and profound mercy given by the Lord Jesus.

 

 

III. Recurrence of Kidney Stones

In the 2017’s medical examination, I was informed that I had kidney stones again, which greatly troubled me. How could they return? Weren't they healed? With this question in mind, I turned to Pastor Wang. He said that the Holy Spirit had revealed to him that I was too petty (caring too much about small and unimportant matters, especially when this is unkind to other people) and small-minded, both with family members and other people. As a result, many people were hurt by my words, which struck a painful chord within me. Reflecting on the trajectory of my life, I realized that I had indeed been such a person, unable to control my words and causing significant harm to others. This brought shame to the name of God.

 

The apostle Paul teaches us in the Bible: "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone" (Colossians 4:6, NIV).

 

 

IV. After Confession and Repentance, Kidney Stones Once Again Healed by God

However, I did not fully obey the Holy Spirit and live to be like Jesus. I often acted on temporary courage, which brought dishonor to the name of God. I lacked a gentle and humble heart, as well as a broad and inclusive heart. 

 

Through pastor Wang, the Holy Spirit instructed me to repent and then I could maintain God's healing. So, I began to confess and repent for my stubbornness and narrow-mindedness. In the following years of medical examinations, no kidney stones were found in either of my kidneys. Thank Lord that I can walk on the path of confession and repentance through paster Wang Shengfeng, and thus my kidney stones were supernaturally healed by God.

 

Throughout the process of writing this testimony, the Holy Spirit has been shining upon me. For such a great grace, and until now, I have only given verbal testimony without promptly expressing my gratitude, without promptly writing a glorious testimony to honor the supernatural healing of the Lord Jesus. Truly, I owe God a great debt.

 

Furthermore, my life needs genuine repentance to be worthy of the grace I have received. I must earnestly address(deal with) my own indifference towards God and ask the Lord Jesus for forgiveness.

 

Thank God for healing my kidney stones twice, causing them to vanish supernaturally. May God remember and bless pastor Wang Shengfeng! All glory and power be to our Lord Jesus Christ ! Amen!
